The History

The Cabin

The cabin and surrounding woods at The Cabin on 360 sit on land connected to the Battle of Bethesda Church during the Civil War’s 1864 Overland Campaign. The wooded area surrounding the cabin was once part of the battlefield, where intense fighting took place between Union and Confederate forces. The cabin itself was built in 1982 as a model home and later became part of the property’s paranormal history. Investigators and visitors have reported footsteps, voices, apparitions, and other unexplained activity throughout the cabin and surrounding woods. Today, the cabin and woods are investigated for the paranormal activity believed to be connected to the property’s long and turbulent history.

The Rancher

The brick rancher next to the cabin carries a particularly tragic history. In 1979, a 12-year-old girl named Melissa was murdered inside the home by her half-sibling, an event that has become one of the most significant pieces of the property’s modern history. The rancher was already standing when the Jones family acquired the property in the late 1970s, before the log cabin was built in 1982. Today, the home is considered one of the primary investigation areas at The Cabin on 360, with investigators reporting unexplained voices, shadow figures, and other activity within its rooms.

The Portal

Many Investigators believe there are portals on the property, specifically inside the woods and the basement of the rancher.

This is due to activity spikes occurring at the same time in both locations.

Our Experiences

Over the past four years, we’ve documented more than a dozen investigations at the Cabin on 360. Throughout those investigations, we’ve encountered what appeared to be potential possessions, disembodied voices, poltergeist activity, and intelligent responses that seemed to acknowledge our presence.

There is something about this location that sets it apart from every other place we’ve investigated. The atmosphere is unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere, and the activity we’ve documented has left us with more questions than answers. Whether the darkness surrounding this property is somehow connected to the bloodshed that occurred here during the war, or perhaps even a curse placed upon the land, remains a mystery.

But there’s one thing I know for certain: no matter what we’ve experienced within those walls, no matter how unsettling the activity becomes, every time we return to the Cabin on 360, there’s an inexplicable feeling that draws us back.

For reasons I can’t fully explain, when we return to that cabin, it feels like coming home.

Emily Straughan

The first time I investigated the cabin, it was truly captivating. The amount of activity I got, and seeing a full body apparition the first time being there was mind blowing. The paranormal aspect aside, there is such an array of history on the 7.2 acres.

Ryan Jones

When I first investigated the property, I was driven by curiosity. These buildings had been in my family for years, yet I had never experienced anything paranormal. That changed when Dennis and I heard a disembodied scream inside The Rancher. From that moment, I wanted to see just how deep the rabbit hole went. I never imagined my family owned a genuinely haunted location.
